| 77:1 | To the chief musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. My voice is to God, and I cry; my voice is to God, and He listened to me. |
| 77:2 | In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand was open in the night and did not grow numb; my soul refused to be comforted. |
| 77:3 | I remember God and am troubled; I meditate and my spirit faints. Selah. |
| 77:4 | You seized the watches of my eyes; I am troubled, and I cannot speak. |
| 77:5 | I thought upon the days of old, the years of bygone ages. |
| 77:6 | I will remember my song in the night; I will speak with my own heart, and my spirit carefully searches. |
| 77:7 | Will the lord cast off forever; and will He not add to be pleased any more? |
| 77:8 | Is His mercy gone forever? Has His word failed for all generations? |

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
