Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

25:1A Psalm of David. To You, O Jehovah, I lift up my soul.
25:2O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.
25:3Yea, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; let those who vainly sin be ashamed.
25:4Make me know Your ways, O Jehovah; teach me Your paths;
25:5lead me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day long.
25:6Remember, O Jehovah, Your compassions and Your mercies; for they are from eternity.
25:7Do not remember the sins of my youth, or my transgressions. According to Your mercy, remember me, for Your goodness' sake, O Jehovah.
25:8Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore He will teach sinners in the way.
25:9He will guide the meek in justice; and He will teach the meek His way.
25:10All the paths of Jehovah are mercy and truth to the keepers of His covenant and His testimonies.
25:11For Your name's sake, O Jehovah, even pardon my iniquity for it is great.
25:12What man is he who fears Jehovah? He teaches him the way he should choose.
25:13His soul shall abide in good, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
25:14The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His covenant.
25:15My eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for He shall bring my feet out of the net.
25:16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
25:17The straits of my heart are enlarged; O bring me out from my straits.
25:18Look on my affliction and my pain, and lift up all my sins.
25:19Look on my enemies, for they are many; they hate me with a violent hatred.
25:20Keep my soul and deliver me let me not be ashamed, for I have sought refuge in You.
25:21Let purity and uprightness keep me, for I wait on You.
25:22Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his distresses.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
