Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

29:1A Psalm of David. Give to Jehovah, sons of mighty ones; give to Jehovah glory and strength.
29:2Give to Jehovah the glory of His name; worship; Jehovah in the majesty of holiness.
29:3The voice of Jehovah is on the waters the God of glory thunders; Jehovah is above many waters.
29:4The voice of Jehovah is in power; the voice of Jehovah in majesty.
29:5The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars; yea, Jehovah breaks Lebanon's cedars.
29:6He also makes them skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
29:7The voice of Jehovah is cutting through the flame of fire.
29:8The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness; Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
29:9The voice of Jehovah causes the does to calve, and He uncovers the forests. And in His temple, it all is saying, Glory!
29:10Jehovah sits upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sits as King forever.
29:11Jehovah will give strength to His people; Jehovah will bless His people with peace.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
