| 135:1 | Praise Jehovah! Praise the name of Jehovah; sing praise, servants of Jehovah; |
| 135:2 | those who stand in the house of Jehovah in the courts of the house of our God; |
| 135:3 | praise Jehovah! For Jehovah is good! Sing praises to His name, for it is delightful. |
| 135:4 | For Jehovah has chosen Jacob to Himself, Israel for His special treasure. |
| 135:5 | For I know that Jehovah is great, and our Lord is above all gods. |
| 135:6 | Every thing which Jehovah was pleased to do, He did, in the heavens and in the earth; and in the seas and all deep places. |

| 135:15 | The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands; |
| 135:16 | they have mouths, but they say nothing; they have eyes, but they see nothing; |

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
