Textus Receptus Bibles

Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

135:1Praise Jehovah! Praise the name of Jehovah; sing praise, servants of Jehovah;
135:2those who stand in the house of Jehovah in the courts of the house of our God;
135:3praise Jehovah! For Jehovah is good! Sing praises to His name, for it is delightful.
135:4For Jehovah has chosen Jacob to Himself, Israel for His special treasure.
135:5For I know that Jehovah is great, and our Lord is above all gods.
135:6Every thing which Jehovah was pleased to do, He did, in the heavens and in the earth; and in the seas and all deep places.
135:7He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His storehouses;
135:8He who struck the first-born of Egypt, from man to animal;
135:9who sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, on Pharaoh and on all his servants;
135:10who struck great nations, and killed mighty kings;
135:11Sihon king Of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
135:12And He gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to His people Israel.
135:13O Jehovah, Your name endures forever; O Jehovah, Your memorial is from generation and generation.
135:14For Jehovah will judge His people; and He will have pity on His servants.
135:15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands;
135:16they have mouths, but they say nothing; they have eyes, but they see nothing;
135:17they have ears, but they hear nothing; yea, there is no breath in their mouths.
135:18Those who make them are like them, everyone who is trusting in them.
135:19Bless Jehovah, O house of Israel; bless Jehovah, O house of Aaron;
135:20Bless Jehovah, O house of Levi; you who fear Jehovah, bless Jehovah.
135:21Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, He who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise Jehovah!

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
