| 62:1 | To the chief musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Only to God is my soul silent; from Him comes my salvation. |
| 62:2 | He alone is my rock and my salvation, my strong tower; I shall not be greatly moved. |
| 62:3 | Until when will you break in against a man? You will shatter him, all of you, like a bowing wall, a tottering fence. |
| 62:4 | Surely, they plotted to cast him down from his excellent dignity; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse in their heart. Selah. |
| 62:5 | Only be silent to God, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. |

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
