Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

13:1To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Until when will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? Until when will You hide Your face from me?
13:2Until when shall I set counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? Until when shall my enemy be lifted up over me?
13:3Look! Answer me, O Jehovah, my God! Make my eyes gleam, lest I sleep the death;
13:4lest my enemy say, I have overcome him and my foes rejoice when I am shaken.
13:5But I have trusted in Your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
13:6I will sing to Jehovah, because He has rewarded me.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
