Textus Receptus Bibles

Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

94:1O Jehovah, God of vengeance; O God of vengeance, shine forth!
94:2Lift up Yourself, O judge of the earth; give a just repayment on the proud.
94:3Until when shall the wicked, O Jehovah, until when shall the wicked exult?
94:4They gush, they speak impudent things; all the workers of evil speak proudly.
94:5O Jehovah, they crush Your people and afflict Your inheritance.
94:6They kill the widow and the stranger, and murder the orphan.
94:7Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, nor shall the God of Jacob observe.
94:8Understand you beastly ones among the people; yea, you fools, when will you be wise?
94:9He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?
94:10He who chastises the nations, shall He not punish, He who teaches man knowledge?
94:11Jehovah knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain.
94:12Blessed is the man You chasten, O Jehovah, You teach him out of Your law;
94:13to give him rest from troubled days, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
94:14For Jehovah will not leave His people; nor will He forsake His inheritance.
94:15For judgment shall turn to righteousness; and all the upright in heart shall follow after it.
94:16Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for Me against the workers of evil?
94:17Unless Jehovah had been my help, my soul would almost have dwelt in silence.
94:18If I said, My foot slides, O Jehovah, Your mercy has held me up.
94:19In the multitude of my inward thoughts, Your comforts delight my soul.
94:20Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You, devising mischief for a statute?
94:21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the blood of the innocent.
94:22But Jehovah is my tower of defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
94:23And He shall turn their own iniquity upon them; and He shall cut them off in their evil, Jehovah our God shall cut them off!

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
