Textus Receptus Bibles
Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993
123:1 | A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes on You, O Dweller in Heaven. |
123:2 | Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters; as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait on Jehovah our God, until He shows grace to us. |
123:3 | Be gracious to us, O Jehovah; be gracious to us! For we are exceedingly filled with scorn. |
123:4 | Our soul is exceedingly filled for itself with the contempt of those who are at ease, the scorn of the proud. |
Green's Literal Translation 1993
Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
