Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

99:1Jehovah reigns; let the peoples tremble; He sits between the cherubs; let the earth quake.
99:2Jehovah is great in Zion; and He is high above all the peoples.
99:3They shall thank Your great and fearful name; it is holy.
99:4The king's strength also loves judgment; You establish uprightness; You worked judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
99:5Exalt Jehovah our God and worship at His footstool; He is holy.
99:6Moses and Aaron were among His priests; and Samuel was among those who called on His name; they called to Jehovah, and He answered them.
99:7He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar; they kept His testimonies and the law that He gave to them.
99:8You answered them, O Jehovah our God; to them You were a God who forgives, but taking vengeance on their works.
99:9Exalt Jehovah our God and worship at His holy hill; for Jehovah our God is holy.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
