13:1To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
13:2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
13:3Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
13:4Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
13:5But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
13:6I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

While Noah Webster, just a few years after producing his famous Dictionary of the English Language, produced his own modern translation of the English Bible in 1833; the public remained too loyal to the King James Version for Webster’s version to have much impact.
