11:1I say then, has God cast away His people? God forbid! Because, I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
11:2God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he makes intercession to God against Israel, saying,
11:3"LORD, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life"?
11:4But what does God reply to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal."
11:5Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
11:6And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
11:7What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks after; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
11:8Just as it is written: "God has given them a spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, to this very day."
11:9And David says: "Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
11:10Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see, and bow down their back always."
11:11I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid! But rather through their fall, salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy,
11:12Now if their fall became riches of the world, and their failure the riches of the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!
11:13Because, I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,
11:14if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and might save some of them.
11:15Because, if their rejection is the reconciling of the world, what shall their acceptance be but life from the dead?
11:16Because, if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
11:17And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and nourishment of the olive tree,
11:18do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
11:19You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."
11:20Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but have reverence.
11:21Because, if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
11:22Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
11:23And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God is able to graft them in again.
11:24Because, if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
11:25Because, I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
11:26And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
11:27Because, this is My covenant with them, when I will take away their sins."
11:28Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved because of the fathers.
11:29Because the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
11:30Because, as you previously did not believe God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief,
11:31even so these also have now not believed, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.
11:32Because, God has concluded them all in unbelief, that He might have mercy on all.
11:33Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
11:34"Because, who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor?"
11:35"Or who has first given to Him and it will be repaid back to him?"
11:36Because, of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Unlike most other modern versions, this Bible's text is based upon the same Hebrew Masoretic Text, and Greek Textus Receptus, of the King James Version of 1611.

In non Textus Receptus versions, the issue of having the best underlying manuscripts, is often overshadowed by the massive amount of omissions in the text. Because the KJV 2016 is not dealing with issues of omission and addition, the focus has been upon definition, and the KJV translators choices have been used as the benchmark.

One issue not often majored upon in the bible version debate is simply the way Greek words are defined. Many times, the NKJV leans upon the definition choices of modern versions as well as defaulting to Vines and Strong's definitions, which are almost always favorable to the Revised Version. In other words, one may have a correct text to translate from, but use erroneous modern version/modern dictionary definitions which change or distort the meaning of the words. Jay Green was accused of having a good TR bible but with "Alexandrian readings".

The KJV 2016 Edition rejects such erroneous modern definitions and restores the distinctness of historical KJV readings. The NKJV also tended to gravitate toward KJV marginal notes, which are in truth, rejected readings, and also toward Geneva Bible definitions, which the KJV had already cleared up.
