Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

23:1A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
23:2He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters;
23:3He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
23:4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
23:5You prepare a table for me before my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
23:6Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for as long as my days.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
