Textus Receptus Bibles

Jay P. Green's Literal Translation 1993

127:1A Song of Ascents, for Solomon. If Jehovah does not build the house, they who build it labor in vain; if Jehovah does not keep the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
127:2It is in vain for you to rise early, sit up late, to eat the bread of toils; for so He gives His beloved sleep.
127:3Behold! Children are an inheritance of Jehovah; the fruit of the womb is His reward.
127:4As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the sons of the young.
127:5Blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them; they shall not be ashamed, for they shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

Green's Literal Translation 1993

Green's Literal Translation (Literal Translation of the Holy Bible - LITV), is a translation of the Bible by Jay P. Green, Sr., first published in 1985. The LITV takes a literal, formal equivalence approach to translation. The Masoretic Text is used as the Hebrew basis for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus is used as the Greek basis for the New Testament.
