| 2:1 | If there is therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, |
| 2:2 | Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. |
| 2:3 | Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. |
| 2:4 | Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. |
| 2:5 | Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: |

Noah Webster's Bible 1833
While Noah Webster, just a few years after producing his famous Dictionary of the English Language, produced his own modern translation of the English Bible in 1833; the public remained too loyal to the King James Version for Webster’s version to have much impact.
