2 Thessalonians - Chapter: 2

2:1We beseche you brethren by the commynge of oure Lorde Iesu Christe, and in that we shal assemble vnto hym,
2:2that ye be not sodenly moued fome your mynd, and be not troubled, neyther by spirite neyther by wordes, nor yet by letter whiche shoulde seme to come from vs, as thoughe the daye of Christe were at hande.
2:3Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon
2:4whiche is an aduersarye, and is exalted aboue all that is called God, or that is worshypped: so that he shall sytte as God in the temple of God, and shewe hym selfe as God.
2:5Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these thynges?
2:6And nowe ye knowe what withholdeth: euen that he myght be vttered at his tyme.
2:7For the mysterye of that iniquitie doeth he al ready work whiche onelye loketh vntyll it be taken out of the waye.
2:8And then shall that wicked be vttered, whome the Lorde shall consume with the spirite of hys mouth, and shall destroye wt the aperaunce of hys commynge.
2:9euen hym whose commynge is by the workynge of Sathan, with all liynge power, signes and wonders:
2:10and in all deceyuablenes of vnryghtuousnes, amonge them that peryshe: because they receyued not the loue of the truethe, that they myght haue bene sayed.
2:11And therfore God shall sende them stronge delusyon, that they shoulde beleue lyes:
2:12that all they myghte be damned which beleued not the trueth but had pleasure in vnryghtuousnes.
2:13But we are bounde to geue thankes alwaye to God for you brethren beloued of the Lorde, because that God hath from the beginnynge chosen you to saluacyon, thorow sanctifiynge of the spyryte, and thorowe beleuing the truet
2:14whereunto he called you by oure Gospell, to obtayne the glorye that commeth of oure Lorde Iesu Christe.
2:15Therfore brethren stande fast and kepe the ordinaunces which ye haue learned: whether it were by oure preachynge or by epistle.
2:16Our Lorde Iesu Christe hym selfe, and God oure father whiche hath loued vs and hath geuen vs euerlastynge consolatyon and good hope thorow grace,
2:17comforte youre hertes, and stablyshe you in all doctryne and good doynge.

2:1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, and by our assembling vnto him,
2:2That ye be not suddenly mooued from your minde, nor troubled neither by spirit, nor by worde, nor by letter, as it were from vs, as though the day of Christ were at hand.
2:3Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition,
2:4Which is an aduersarie, and exalteth him selfe against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doeth sit as God in the Temple of God, shewing him selfe that he is God.
2:5Remember ye not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these things?
2:6And nowe ye knowe what withholdeth that he might be reueiled in his time.
2:7For the mysterie of iniquitie doeth already worke: onely he which nowe withholdeth, shall let till he be taken out of the way.
2:8And then shall that wicked man be reueiled, whome the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of his mouth, and shall abolish with the brightnes of his comming,
2:9Euen him whose comming is by the effectuall working of Satan, with all power, and signes, and lying wonders,
2:10And in al deceiuablenes of vnrighteousnes, among them that perish, because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued.
2:11And therefore God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies,
2:12That all they might be damned which beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
2:13But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth,
2:14Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to obtaine the glory of our Lord Iesus Christ.
2:15Therefore, brethren, stand fast and keepe the instructions, which ye haue bene taught, either by worde, or by our Epistle.
2:16Now the same Iesus Christ our Lord; and our God euen the Father which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
2:17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in euery word and good worke.

2:1Now wee beseech you, brethren, by the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, and by our gathering together vnto him,
2:2That yee bee not soone shaken in minde, or bee troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from vs, as that the day of Christ is at hand,
2:3Let no man deceiue you by any meanes, for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sinne bee reuealed, the sonne of perdition,
2:4Who opposeth and exalteth himselfe aboue all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he as God, sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himselfe that he is God.
2:5Remember yee not, that when I was yet with you, I tolde you these things?
2:6And now yee know what withholdeth, that hee might bee reuealed in his time.
2:7For the mysterie of iniquitie doth alreadie worke: onely he who now letteth, will let, vntill he be taken out of the way.
2:8And then shall that wicked bee reuealed, whome the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightnesse of his comming:
2:9Euen him whose comming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signes, and lying wonders,
2:10And with all deceiueablenesse of vnrighteousnesse, in them that perish: because they receiued not the loue of the trueth, that they might be saued.
2:11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue a lye:
2:12That they all might bee damned who beleeued not the trueth, but had pleasure in vnrighteousnes.
2:13But we are bound to giue thanks alway to God for you, brethren, beloued of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the spirit, and beleefe of the trueth,
2:14Whereunto he called you by our Gospel, to the obteining of the glorie of the Lord Iesus Christ.
2:15Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which yee haue beene taught, whether by word or our Epistle.
2:16Now our Lorde Iesus Christ himselfe, and God euen our Father, which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation, and good hope through grace,
2:17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in euery good word and worke.
