Romans - Chapter: 12

>
12:1Therfore, britheren, Y biseche you bi the mercy of God, that ye yyue youre bodies a lyuynge sacrifice, hooli, plesynge to God, and youre seruyse resonable.
12:2And nyle ye be confourmyd to this world, but be ye reformed in newnesse of youre wit, that ye preue which is the wille of God, good, and wel plesynge, and parfit.
12:3For Y seie, bi the grace that is youun to me, to alle that ben among you, that ye sauere no more than it bihoueth to sauere, but for to sauere to sobrenesse; and to ech man, as God hath departid the mesure of feith.
12:4For as in o bodi we han many membris, but alle the membris han not the same dede;
12:5so we many ben o bodi in Crist, and eche ben membris oon of anothir.
12:6Therfor we that han yiftis dyuersynge, aftir the grace that is youun to vs,
12:7ethir prophecie, aftir the resoun of feith; ethir seruise, in mynystryng; ether he that techith, in techyng;
12:8he that stirith softli, in monestyng; he that yyueth, in symplenesse; he that is souereyn, in bisynesse; he that hath merci, in gladnesse.
12:9Loue with outen feynyng, hatynge yuel, drawynge to good;
12:10louynge togidere the charite of britherhod. Eche come bifore to worschipen othere;
12:11not slow in bisynesse, feruent in spirit, seruynge to the Lord,
12:12ioiynge in hope, pacient in tribulacioun, bisy in preier,
12:13yyuynge good to the nedis of seyntis, kepynge hospitalite.
12:14Blesse ye men that pursuen you; blesse ye, and nyle ye curse;
12:15for to ioye with men that ioyen, for to wepe with men that wepen.
12:16Fele ye the same thing togidere; not sauerynge heiy thingis, but consentynge to meke thingis. Nile ye be prudent anentis you silf;
12:17to no man yeldynge yuel for yuel, but purueye ye good thingis, not oneli bifor God, but also bifor alle men.
12:18If it may be don, that that is of you, haue ye pees with alle men.
12:19Ye moost dere britheren, not defendynge you silf, but yyue ye place to wraththe; for it is writun, The Lord seith, To me veniaunce, and Y schal yelde.
12:20But if thin enemy hungrith, fede thou hym; if he thirstith, yyue thou drynke to hym; for thou doynge this thing schalt gidere togidere colis on his heed.
12:21Nyle thou be ouercomun of yuel, but ouercome thou yuel bi good.

 

12:1I beseche you therfore brethre by ye mercyfulnes of God that ye make youre bodyes aquicke sacrifise holy and acceptable vnto God which is youre resonable seruynge of god.
12:2And fassion not youre selves lyke vnto this worlde: But be ye chaunged in youre shape by the renuynge of youre wittes that ye maye fele what thynge that good yt acceptable and perfaycte will of god is.
12:3For I saye (thorowe the grace that vnto me geve is) to every man amonge you that noman esteme of him selfe moare then it becometh him to esteme: but that he discretely iudge of him selfe accordynge as God hath dealte to every man the measure of fayth.
12:4As we have many members in one body and all members have not one office:
12:5so we beynge many are one body in Christ and every man (amoge oure selves) one anothers mebers Seynge
12:6that we have dyvers gyftes accordynge to the grace that is geven vnto vs: yf eny man have ye gyft of prophesye let him have it that it be agreynge vnto the fayth.
12:7Let him that hath an office wayte on his office. Let him that teacheth take hede to his doctrine.
12:8Let him that exhorteth geve attendaunce to his exhortacion. Yf eny man geve let him do it with singlenes. Let him that ruleth do it with diligence. Yf eny man shewe mercy let him do it with cherfulnes.
12:9Let love be wt out dissimulacion. Hate that which is evyll and cleave vnto that which is good.
12:10Be kynde one to another with brotherly love. In gevynge honoure goo one before another.
12:11Let not yt busynes which ye have in honde be tedious to you. Be fervet in ye sprete. Applye youre selves to ye tyme.
12:12Reioyce in hope. Be paciet in tribulacion. Continue in prayer.
12:13Distribute vnto the necessite of the saynctes and diligently to harboure.
12:14Blesse the which persecute you: blesse but course not.
12:15Be mery with the that are mery. Wepe wt them that wepe.
12:16Be of lyke affeccion one towardes another. Be not hye mided: but make youreselves equall to the of ye lower sorte. Be not wyse in youre awne opinios.
12:17Recopence to no ma evyll fore evyll. Provyde afore honde thinges honest in ye syght of all men.
12:18Yf it be possible howbe it of youre parte have peace with all men.
12:19Derly beloued avenge not youre selves but geve roume vnto the wrath of God. For it is written: vengeaunce is myne and I will rewarde saith the lorde.
12:20Terfore yf thyn enemy honger fede him: yf he thurst geve him drinke. For in so doynge thou shalt heape coles of fyre on his heed:
12:21Be not overcome of evyll: But overcome evyll wt goodnes.

12:2And fashion not youre selues like vnto this worlde, but be chaunged thorow the renewynge off yor mynde, yt ye maye proue, what thinge that good, yt acceptable, & perfecte wil of God is.
12:3For I saye thorow the grace yt is geue me, vnto euery man amonge you: that no man esteme off him selfe more, then it becometh him to esteme: but that he discretly iudge of himselfe, acordinge as God hath dealte vnto euery man the measure of faith.
12:4For like as we haue many membres in one body, but all the membres haue not one maner of operacion:
12:5Euen so we beynge many are one body in Christ. But amonge oure selues euery one is the membre of another,
12:6and haue dyuers giftes, acordinge to the grace that is geuen vnto vs Yf eny man haue the gifte of prophecienge, let it be acordinge to the faith.
12:7Let him that hath an office, wayte vpo the office: let him that teacheth, take hede to the doctryne:
12:8Let him that exhorteth, geue attedaunce to the exhortacion. Yf eny ma geueth, let hi geue with synglenesse. Let him that ruleth, be diligent. Yf eny man shewe mercy, let him do it with chearfulnesse.
12:9Let loue be without dissimulacion. Hate that which is euell: Cleue vnto that which is good.
12:10Be kynde one to another with brotherly loue. In geuynge honoure go one before another.
12:11Be not slouthfull in the busynesse that ye haue in hande. Be feruent in the sprete. Applye youre selues vnto the tyme.
12:12Reioyse in hope, be pacient in trouble. Continue in prayer.
12:13Distribute vnto the necessities of the sayntes. Be glad to harbarow.
12:14Blesse the that persecute you. Blesse, & curse not.
12:15Be mery with them that are mery and wepe with them that wepe.
12:16Be of one mynde amonge youre selues. Be not proude in youre awne consaytes, but make youre selues equall to them of ye lowe sorte. Be not wyse in youre awne opinions
12:17Recompese vnto no man euell for euell. Prouyde honestie afore hade towarde euery ma.
12:18Yf it be possible (as moch as in you is) haue peace with all men.
12:19Dearly beloued, auenge not youre selues, but geue rowme vnto the wrath off God. For it is wrytte: Vengeaunce is myne, and I wil rewarde, sayeth ye LORDE.
12:20Therfore yf thine enemye hunger, fede him: Yf he thyrst, geue him drinke. For in so doinge thou shalt heape coales of fyre vpo his heade.
12:21Be not ouercome with euell, but ouercome thou euell with good.
