Psalms - Chapter: 104

>
104:1Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
104:2Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
104:3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
104:4Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
104:5Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
104:6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
104:7At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
104:8They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
104:9Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
104:10He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
104:11They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
104:12By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
104:13He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
104:14He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
104:15And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
104:16The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
104:17Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
104:18The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
104:19He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
104:20Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
104:21The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
104:22The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
104:23Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
104:24O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
104:25So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
104:26There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
104:27These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
104:28That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
104:29Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
104:30Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
104:31The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
104:32He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
104:33I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
104:34My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
104:35Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

104:1Prayse the Lord O my soule: O Lord my God, thou art become exceadynge glorious, thou art clothed with maiesty and honoure.
104:2Thou deckest thy selfe with lyght, as it were with a garment, and spredest out the heauens lyke a curtayne.
104:3Which layeth the beames of his chambers in the waters, & maketh the cloudes his charet, & walketh vpon the wynges of the wynde.
104:4He maketh his angels spretes, and his mynisters a flamynge fyre.
104:5He layed the foundacyon of the earth, that it neuer shulde moue at eny tyme.
104:6Thou coueredst it wt the depe lyke as wyth a garment: the waters stande in the hylles.

104:14He bryngeth forth grasse for the cattell, and grene herbe for the seruice of men:
104:15that he maye brynge fode out of the earth: and wyne that maketh glad the herte of man, and oyle to make him a chearfull countenaunce, and bred to strength mans herte.
104:16The trees of the Lord also are full of sappe, euen the Cedres of Libanus which he hath planted.
104:17Wherin the byrdes make their nestes, and the fyrre trees are a dwellyng for the storcke.
104:18The hye hilles are a refuge for the wilde goates, and so are the stony rockes for the conyes.
104:19He appoynted the Moone for certayne seasons, and the Sunne knoweth hys goynge downe.
104:20Thou makest darcknesse, that it maye be night, wherin all the beastes of the forest do moue.
104:21The lyons roaring after their praye to seke theyr meate at God.
104:22The sunne aryseth, and they get them awaye together, and lye them downe in their dennes.
104:23Man goeth forth to his worcke, and to hys laboure vntyll the euenyng.
104:24O Lorde, how manifolde are thy worckes? in wysdome hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy ryches.
104:25So is this greate and wyde see also, wherin are thynges crepynge innumerable, both small and greate beastes.
104:26There go the shippes, and there is that Leuiathan, whom thou hast made, to take hys pastyme therin.
