Ecclesiastes 7:7

כי העשׁק יהולל חכם ויאבד את לב מתנה׃

Ciertamente la opresión hace enloquecer al sabio: y el presente corrompe el corazón.

Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.

For oppression will make foolish the wise one; and a gift will destroy the heart.

The wyse man hateth wrong dealing, and abhorreth the heart that coueteth rewardes

Better it is to heare ye rebuke of a wise man, then that a man should heare the song of fooles.

The wyse man hateth wronge delynge: & abhorreth the harte that couetith rewardes.

Who so doeth wronge, maketh a wyse man to goo out of hys wytte, and destroyeth agentle herte.

Who so doeth wronge, maketh a wyse man to go out of his witt, and destroyeth a gentle hert.

for as the sown of thornes brennynge vndur a pot, so is the leiyyng of a fool. But also this is vanyte.
