Romans - Chapter: 3

3:1What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
3:2Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
3:3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
3:5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
3:6God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
3:7For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
3:8And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
3:9What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
3:10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
3:12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3:13Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
3:14Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
3:15Their feet are swift to shed blood:
3:16Destruction and misery are in their ways:
3:17And the way of peace have they not known:
3:18There is no fear of God before their eyes.
3:19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
3:20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
3:21But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
3:22Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
3:24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
3:25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
3:26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
3:27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
3:28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
3:29Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
3:30Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
3:31Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

3:1What is then the preferment of the Iewe? or what is the profite of circumcision?
3:2Much euery maner of way: for chiefly, because vnto them were of credite committed the oracles of God.
3:3For what, though some did not beleeue? shall their vnbeliefe make the faith of God without effect?
3:4God forbid: yea, let God be true, and euery man a lyar, as it is written, That thou mightest be iustified in thy words, and ouercome, when thou art iudged.
3:5Now if our vnrighteousnes comend the righteousnes of God, what shall we say? Is God vnrighteous which punisheth? (I speake as a man.)
3:6God forbid: els how shall God iudge ye world?
3:7For if the veritie of God hath more abounded through my lye vnto his glorie, why am I yet condemned as a sinner?
3:8And (as we are blamed, and as some affirme, that we say) why doe we not euil, that good may come thereof? whose damnation is iust.
3:9What then? are we more excellent? No, in no wise: for we haue alreadie prooued, that all, both Iewes and Gentiles are vnder sinne,
3:10As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.
3:11There is none that vnderstandeth: there is none that seeketh God.
3:12They haue all gone out of the way: they haue bene made altogether vnprofitable: there is none that doeth good, no not one.
3:13Their throte is an open sepulchre: they haue vsed their tongues to deceit: the poyson of aspes is vnder their lippes.
3:14Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitternesse.
3:15Their feete are swift to shead blood.
3:16Destruction and calamity are in their waies,
3:17And ye way of peace they haue not knowen.
3:18The feare of God is not before their eies.
3:19Now we know that whatsoeuer ye Lawe saieth, it saieth it to them which are vnder ye Law, that euery mouth may bee stopped, and all the world be subiect to the iudgement of God.
3:20Therefore by the woorkes of the Lawe shall no flesh be iustified in his sight: for by the Lawe commeth the knowledge of sinne.
3:21But nowe is the righteousnesse, of God made manifest without the Lawe, hauing witnes of the Lawe and of the Prophets,
3:22To wit, the righteousnesse of God by the faith of Iesus Christ, vnto all, and vpon all that beleeue.
3:23For there is no difference: for all haue sinned, and are depriued of the glorie of God,
3:24And are iustified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Iesus,
3:25Whom God hath set forth to be a reconciliation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousnes, by the forgiuenesse of the sinnes that are passed,
3:26Through the patience of God, to shewe at this time his righteousnesse, that hee might be iust, and a iustifier of him which is of the faith of Iesus.
3:27Where is then the reioycing? It is excluded. By what Lawe? of woorkes? Nay: but by the Lawe of faith.
3:28Therefore we conclude, that a man is iustified by faith, without the workes of the Lawe.
3:29God, is he the God of the Iewes onely, and not of the Gentiles also? Yes, euen of the Gentiles also.
3:30For it is one God, who shall iustifie circumcision of faith, and vncircumcision through faith.
3:31Doe we then make the Lawe of none effect through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the Lawe.

3:1What preferment then hath the Iewe? other what a vauntageth circumcision?
3:2Surely very moche. Fyrst vnto them was committed the worde of God
3:3What then though some of them did not beleve? shall their vnbeleve make the promes of god with out effecte?
3:4God forbid. Let god be true and all men lyars as it is written: That thou myghtest be iustifyed in thy sayinge and shuldest overcome when thou arte iudged.
3:5Yf oure vnrightewesnes make the rightewesnes of God more excellent: what shall we saye? Is God vnrighteous which taketh vengeauce? I speake after the maner of me.
3:6God forbid. For how then shall God iudge the worlde?
3:7Yf the veritie of God appere moare excellent thorow my lye vnto his prayse why am I hence forth iudged as a synner?
3:8and saye not rather (as men evyll speake of vs and as some affirme that we saye) let vs do evyll that good maye come therof. Whose damnacion is iuste.
3:9What saye we then? Are we better then they? No in no wyse. For we have all ready proved how that both Iewes and Gentils are all vnder synne
3:10as it is writte: There is none righteous no not one:
3:11There is none that vnderstondith there is none yt seketh after God
3:12they are all gone out of ye waye they are all made vnprofytable ther is none that doeth good no not one.
3:13Their throte is an open sepulchre with their tounges they have disceaved: the poyson of Aspes is vnder their lippes.
3:14Whose mouthes are full of coursynge and bitternes.
3:15Their fete are swyfte to sheed bloud.
3:16Destruccion and wretchednes are in their wayes.
3:17And the waye of peace they have not knowen.
3:18There is no feare of God before their eyes.
3:19Ye and we knowe that whatsoever ye lawe sayth he sayth it to them which are vnder the lawe. That all mouthes maye be stopped and all the worlde be subdued to god
3:20because that by ye dedes of the lawe shall no flesshe be iustified in the sight of God. For by the lawe commeth the knowledge of synne.
3:21 Now verely is ye rigtewesnes that cometh of God declared without the fulfillinge of ye lawe havinge witnes yet of ye lawe and of the Prophetes.
3:22The rightewesnes no dout which is good before God cometh by ye fayth of Iesus Christ vnto all and vpon all that beleve.Ther is no differece:
3:23ΒΆ For there is no difference, for all have synned and lacke the prayse yt is of valoure before God:
3:24but are iustified frely by his grace through the redemcion that is in Christ Iesu
3:25whom God hath made a seate of mercy thorow faith in his bloud to shewe ye rightewesnes which before him is of valoure in yt he forgeveth ye synnes yt are passed which God dyd suffre
3:26to shewe at this tyme ye rightewesnes yt is alowed of him yt he myght be couted iuste and a iustifiar of him which belevith on Iesus.
3:27Where is then thy reioysinge? It is excluded. By what lawe? by ye lawe of workes? Naye: but by the lawe of fayth.
3:28For we suppose that a man is iustified by fayth without the dedes of ye lawe.
3:29Is he the God of the Iewes only? Is he not also the God of the Gentyls? Yes eve of the Gentyles also.
3:30For it is God only which iustifieth circumcision which is of fayth and vncircumcision thorow fayth.
3:31Do we then destroye the lawe thorow fayth? God forbid. But we rather mayntayne the lawe.
