1 John - Chapter: 1

1:1That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
1:2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1:3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1:4And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1:5This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1:7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1:8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1:1That which was from the beginning, which wee haue heard, which wee haue seene with these our eyes, which wee haue looked vpon, and these handes of ours haue handled of that Word of life,
1:2(For that life was made manifest, and wee haue seene it, and beare witnes, and shewe vnto you that eternall life, which was with the Father, and was made manifest vnto vs)
1:3That, I say, which wee haue seene and heard, declare wee vnto you, that yee may also haue fellowship with vs, and that our fellowship also may be with the Father, and with his Sonne Iesvs Christ.
1:4And these thinges write we vnto you, that that your ioy may be full.
1:5This then is the message which wee haue heard of him, and declare vnto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkenes.
1:6If wee say that wee haue fellowship with him, and walke in darkenesse, we lie, and doe not truely:
1:7But if we walke in the light as he is in the light, we haue fellowship one with another, and the blood of Iesus Christ his Sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.
1:8If we say that we haue no sinne, we deceiue our selues, and trueth is not in vs.
1:9If we acknowledge our sinnes, he is faithfull and iust, to forgiue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from all vnrighteousnes.
1:10If wee say we haue not sinned, wee make him a liar, and his word is not in vs.

1:1That which was fro the begynninge concerninge which we have hearde which we have sene with oure eyes which we have loked vpon and oure hondes have hadled of the worde of life.
1:2For the lyfe appered and we have sene and beare witnes and shewe vnto you that eternall lyfe which was with the father and appered vnto vs.
1:3That which we have sene and herde declare we vnto you that ye maye have felloushippe with vs and that oure fellishippe maye be with the father and his sonne Iesus Christ.
1:4And this write we vnto you that oure ioye maye be full.
1:5And this is the tydynges which we have hearde of him and declare vnto you that god is lyght and in him is no darknes at all
1:6yf we saye that we have fellishippe with him and yet walke in darknes we lye and do not the truth:
1:7but and yf we walke in (lyght) even as he is in lyght then have we fellishippe with him and the bloud of Iesus Christ his sonne clenseth vs from all synne.
1:8Yf we saye that we have no synne we deceave oure selves and trueth is not in vs.
1:9Yf we knowledge oure synnes he is faythfull and iust to forgeve vs oure synnes and to clense vs from all vnrightewesnes.
1:10Yf we saye we have not sinned we make him a lyar and his worde is not in vs.
