Hebrews - Chapter: 3

>
3:1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
3:2Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
3:3For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
3:4For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
3:5And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
3:6But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
3:7Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
3:8Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
3:9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
3:10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
3:11So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
3:12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
3:13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
3:14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
3:15While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
3:16For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
3:18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
3:19So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

3:1Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heauenly vocation, consider the Apostle and high Priest of our profession Christ Iesus:
3:2Who was faithfull to him that hath appointed him, euen as Moses was in al his house.
3:3For this man is counted worthy of more glory then Moses, inasmuch as he which hath builded the house, hath more honour then the house.
3:4For euery house is builded of some man, and he that hath built all things, is God.
3:5Now Moses verely was faithfull in all his house, as a seruant, for a witnesse of the thinges which should be spoken after.
3:6But Christ is as the Sonne, ouer his owne house, whose house we are, if we holde fast that confidence and that reioycing of that hope vnto the ende.
3:7Wherefore, as the holy Ghost sayth, To day if ye shall heare his voyce,
3:8Harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation, according to the day of the tentation in the wildernes,
3:9Where your fathers tempted me, prooued me, and sawe my workes fourtie yeeres long.
3:10Wherefore I was grieued with that generation, and sayde, They erre euer in their heart, neither haue they knowen my wayes.
3:11Therefore I sware in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest.
3:12Take heede, brethren, least at any time there be in any of you an euill heart, and vnfaithfull, to depart away from the liuing God.
3:13But exhort one another dayly, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulnes of sinne.
3:14For we are made partakers of Christ, if we keepe sure vnto the ende that beginning, wherewith we are vpholden,
3:15So long as it is sayd, To day if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation.
3:16For some when they heard, prouoked him to anger: howbeit, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17But with whome was he displeased fourtie yeeres? Was hee not displeased with them that sinned, whose carkeises fell in the wildernes?
3:18And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but vnto them that obeyed not?
3:19So we see that they could not enter in, because of vnbeliefe.

3:1Wherfore holy brethren partakers of the celestiall callinge cosyder the embasseatour and hye prest of oure profession Christ Iesus
3:2which was faythfull to him that made him even as was Moses in all his housse.
3:3And this man was counted worthy of more glory then Moses: In as moche as he which hath prepared the housse hath most honoure in the housse.
3:4Every housse is prepared of some man. But he that ordeyned all thinges is god.
3:5And Moses verely was faythfull in all his housse as a minister to beare witnes of tho thinges which shuld be spoken afterwarde.
3:6But Christ as a sonne hath rule over the housse whose housse are we so that we hold fast the confydence and the reioysynge of that hope vnto the ende.
3:7Wherfore as the holy goost sayth: to daye if ye shall heare his voyce
3:8harden not youre hertes after the rebellyon in the daye of temptacion in the wildernes
3:9where youre fathers tempted me proved me and sawe my workes xl. yeare longe.
3:10Wherfore I was greved wt ye generacio and sayde. They erre ever in their hertes: they verely have not knowe my wayes
3:11so that I sware in my wrathe that they shuld not enter into my rest.
3:12Take hede brethren that therbe in none of you an evyll herte in vnbeleve that he shuld departe from ye lyvynge god:
3:13but exhorte one another dayly whill is it called to daye lest eny of you wexe harde herted thorow ye deceytfullnesse of sinne
3:14We are partetakers of Christ yf we kepe sure vnto the ende the fyrst substance
3:15so longe as it is sayd: to daye yf ye heare his voyce harde not youre hertes as when ye rebelled.
3:16For some whe they hearde rebelled: howbe it not all yt ca out of Egypt vnder Moses.
3:17But with who was he despleased .xl. yeares? Was he not displeased with them that synned: whose carkases were overthorwen in the desert?
3:18To whom sware he that they shuld not enter into his rest: but vnto them that beleved not?
3:19And we se that they coulde not enter in because of vnbeleve.
