2 Corinthians - Chapter: 4

4:1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
4:2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
4:3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4:4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
4:5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
4:6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
4:7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
4:8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
4:10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
4:11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
4:12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
4:13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
4:14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
4:15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
4:16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
4:17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
4:18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

4:1Therefore, seeing that we haue this ministerie, as we haue receiued mercy, we faint not:
4:2But haue cast from vs ye clokes of shame, and walke not in craftines, neither handle we the worde of God deceitfully: but in declaration of the trueth we approue our selues to euery mans conscience in the sight of God.
4:3If our Gospell bee then hid, it is hid to them that are lost.
4:4In whom the God of this world hath blinded the mindes, that is, of the infidels, that the light of the glorious Gospell of Christ, which is the image of God, should not shine vnto them.
4:5For we preach not our selues, but Christ Iesus the Lord, and our selues your seruaunts for Iesus sake.
4:6For God that commanded the light to shine out of darknesse, is he which hath shined in our hearts, to giue the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Iesus Christ.
4:7But we haue this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellencie of that power might be of God, and not of vs.
4:8Wee are afflicted on euery side, yet are we not in distresse: we are in doubt, but yet wee despaire not.
4:9We are persecuted, but not forsaken: cast downe, but we perish not.
4:10Euery where we beare about in our bodie the dying of the Lord Iesus, that the life of Iesus might also be made manifest in our bodies.
4:11For we which liue, are alwaies deliuered vnto death for Iesus sake, that the life also of Iesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
4:12So then death worketh in vs, and life in you.
4:13And because we haue the same spirite of faith, according as it is written, I beleeued, and therefore haue I spoken, we also beleeue, and therefore speake,
4:14Knowing that he which hath raised vp the Lord Iesus, shall raise vs vp also by Iesus, and shall set vs with you.
4:15For all thinges are for your sakes, that that most plenteous grace by the thankesgiuing of many, may redound to the praise of God.
4:16Therefore we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed daily.
4:17For our light affliction which is but for a moment, causeth vnto vs a farre most excellent and an eternall waight of glorie:
4:18While we looke not on the thinges which are seene, but on the things which are not seene: for the things which are seene, are temporall: but the things which are not seene, are eternall.

4:1Therfore seinge that we have soche an office eve as mercy is come on vs we faynte not:
4:2but have cast from vs the clokes of vnhonestie and walke not in craftines nether corrupte we the worde of God: but walke in open trueth and reporte oure selves to every mannes conscience in the sight of God.
4:3Yf oure Gospell be yet hyd it is hid amoge them that are lost
4:4in whom ye god of this worlde hath blynded the myndes of them which beleve not lest the light of ye glorious gospell of Christ which is the ymage of god shuld shyne vnto them.
4:5For we preache not oure selves but Christ Iesus to be the Lorde and oure selves youre servautes for Iesus sake.
4:6For it is God that commauded the light to shyne out of darcknes which hath shyned in oure hertes for to geve the light of the knowledge of the glorie of God in the face of Iesus Christ.
4:7But we have this treasure in erthe vessels that ye excellent power of it myght appere to be of God and not of vs.
4:8We are troubled on every side yet are we not with out shyft. We are in povertie: but not vtterly without somwhat.
4:9We are persecuted: but are not forsake. We are cast doune: neverthelesse we perisshe not.
4:10And we all wayes beare in oure bodyes the dyinge of the Lorde Iesus that the lyfe of Iesu myght appere in oure bodyes.
4:11For we which live are alwayes delyvered vnto deeth for Iesus sake yt the lyfe also of Iesu myght appere in oure mortall flesshe.
4:12So then deeth worketh in vs and lyfe in you.
4:13Seynge then yt we have ye same sprete of fayth accordinge as it is writte: I beleved and therfore have I spoken. We also beleve and therfore speake.
4:14For we knowe that he which raysed vp the Lorde Iesus shall rayse vp vs also by the meanes of Iesus and shall seet vs with you.
4:15For all thinges do I for youre sakes that the plenteous grace by thankes geve of many maye redounde to the prayse of god.
4:16Wherfore we are not weried but though oure vttward man perisshe yet the inwarde man is renewed daye by daye.
4:17For oure excedinge tribulacion which is momentany and light prepareth an excedinge and an eternall wayght of glorye
4:18vnto vs whill we loke not on the thynges which are sene but on ye thynges which are not sene. For thinges which are sene are temporall: but thynges which are not sene are eternall
