1 Corinthians - Chapter: 3


3:1	And I coulde not speake vnto you brethren as vnto spiritual, but as vnto carnal, euen as it were to babes in Christ:
3:2	I gaue you milke to drinke, & not meat. For ye then were not stronge, no neyther yet are. For ye are yet carnall.
3:3	As longe verelye as there is amonge you enuiynge, stryfe and dissencion: are ye not carnall, and walke after the maner of men?
3:4	As long as one sayeth, I holde of Paul, and another I am of Apollo, are ye not carnall?
3:5	What is Paule? What thinge is Apollo? Dulye ministres are they, by whom ye beleued, euen as the Lorde gaue euerye man grace.
3:6	I haue planted, Apollo watred: but God gaue the increase.
3:7	So then neyther is he that planteth anye thinge neyther he that watreth: but God that gaue the increase.
3:8	He that planteth and he that wathereth, are neither better then the other. Euerye man yet shall receyue hys rewarde accordynge to hys laboure.
3:9	We are Goddes labourer, ye are Goddes husbandrye ye are Goddes buyldinge.
3:10	According to the grace of God geuen vnto me, as a wyse buylder haue I layde the foundation. And another buylte theron. But let euery man take hede how he buildeth vpon.
3:11	For other foundation can no man laie, then that whiche is layde, whiche is Iesus Christ.
3:12	Yf any man buylde on this foundacion, golde, syluer, precyous stones timber, haye or stobble:
3:13	euerye mans worke shall appeare. For the daye shal declare it, & it shalbe shewed in fyre. And the fyre shall trye euery mannes worke, what it is.
3:14	Yf any mannes worke that he hath buylt vpon, byde: he shall receiue a rewarde.
3:15	If any mannes worke burne, he shall suffer losse: but he shalbe safe him selfe: neuerthelesse yet as it were thorow fyre.
3:16	Are ye not ware that ye are the temple of God, and how that the spyryte of God dwelleth in you?
3:17	Yf anye man defyle the temple of God him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, whyche temple ye are.
3:18	Let no man deceyue hym selfe. Yf anye man seme, wyse amonge you, let hym be a fole in thys worlde that he maye be wyse.
3:19	For the wysdome of this worlde is folyshnes wyth God. For it is wrytten: he compaseth the wyse in theyr craftynes.
3:20	And agayne, God knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse that they be vayne.
3:21	Therfore let no man reioice in men. For all thinges are youres
3:22	whether it be Paule, other Apollo, other Cephas: whether it be the world, other lyfe, other deathe, whether they be present thynges or thinges to come: all are youres,
3:23	and ye are Christes & Christ is Gods.

3:3	As longe verely as ther is amonge you enuyinge, & strife & sectes: are ye not carnall, & walke after the maner of men?
3:4	For whyle one sayth: I holde of Paul, & another: I am of Apollo, are ye not carnall?
3:5	What is Paul? What thynge is Apollo? Onely ministers are they by whom ye beleued, euen as the Lorde gaue euery man grace.
3:6	I haue planted, Apollo watred: but God gaue the encreace.
3:7	So then, nether is he that planteth eny thyng, nether he that watreth, but God that geueth the encreace.
3:8	He that planteth and he that watreth, are one. Euery man yet shall receaue hys rewarde, accordynge to his laboure.
3:9	For we are Goddes labourers, ye are Goddes husbandrye, ye are Goddes buyldyng:

3:14	If eny mannes worcke that he hath bylt vpon, byde, he shall receaue a rewarde.

3:16	Knowe ye not, that ye are the temple of God, & how that the sprete of God dwelleth in you?
3:17	If eny man defyle the temple of God, hym shall God destroye. For the temple of God, is holy, whych temple ye are.
3:18	Let no man deceaue him selfe. If eny man seme wyse to hym selfe amonge you, let hym become a foole in this worlde, that he maye be wyse.
3:19	For the wysdom of thys worlde is folyshnes with God. For it is wrytten: he compaseth the wyse in theyr craftynes.
3:20	And agayne: God knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse, that they be vayne.
3:21	Therfore, let no man reioyce in men. For all thynges are youres,
3:22	whether it be Paul, ether Apollo, ether Cephas: whether it be the worlde, ether lyfe, ether deeth, whether they be present thynges, or thynges to come: all are youres:
3:23	and ye are Chrystes, and Christ is Goddes.

3:2	I gaue you milke to drinke, and not meat: for yee were not yet able to beare it, neither yet nowe are yee able.
3:3	For yee are yet carnall: for whereas there is among you enuying, and strife, and diuisions, are ye not carnall, and walke as men?
3:4	For when one sayeth, I am Pauls, and another, I am Apollos, are yee not carnall?
3:5	Who is Paul then? and who is Apollos, but the ministers by whome yee beleeued, and as the Lord gaue to euery man?
3:6	I haue planted, Apollos watred, but God gaue the increase.
3:7	So then, neither is hee that planteth any thing, neither hee that watreth, but God that giueth the increase.
3:8	And he that planteth, and he that watreth, are one, and euery man shall receiue his wages, according to his labour.
3:9	For we together are Gods labourers: yee are Gods husbandrie, and Gods building.
3:10	According to the grace of God giuen to mee, as a skilfull master builder, I haue laide the foundation, and another buildeth thereon: but let euery man take heede how he buildeth vpon it.
3:11	For other foundation can no man laie, then that which is laied, which is Iesus Christ.
3:12	And if any man builde on this foundation, golde, siluer, precious stones, timber, haye, or stubble,
3:13	Euery mans worke shalbe made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shalbe reueiled by the fire: and the fire shall trie euery mans worke of what sort it is.
3:14	If any mans worke, that he hath built vpon, abide, he shall receiue wages.
3:15	If any mans worke burne, he shall lose, but he shalbe saued himselfe: neuerthelesse yet as it were by the fire.
3:16	Knowe ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
3:17	If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.
3:18	Let no man deceiue himselfe: If any man among you seeme to be wise in this world, let him be a foole, that he may be wise.
3:19	For the wisdome of this worlde is foolishnesse with God: for it is written, He catcheth the wise in their owne craftinesse.
3:20	And againe, The Lord knoweth that the thoughtes of the wise be vaine.
3:21	Therefore let no man reioyce in men: for all things are yours.
3:22	Whether it be Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death: whether they be things present, or thinges to come, euen all are yours,
3:23	And ye Christes, and Christ Gods.
