Romans - Chapter: 13

13:1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
13:2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
13:3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
13:4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
13:5Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
13:6For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
13:7Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
13:8Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
13:9For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
13:10Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
13:11And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
13:12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13:13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
13:14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

13:1Let euery soule be subiect vnto the higher powers: for there is no power but of God: and the powers that be, are ordeined of God.
13:2Whosoeuer therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist, shall receiue to themselues condemnation.
13:3For Magistrates are not to be feared for good workes, but for euill. Wilt thou then bee without feare of the power? doe well: so shalt thou haue praise of the same.
13:4For he is ye minister of God for thy wealth, but if thou do euill, feare: for he beareth not the sworde for nought: for he is the minister of God to take vengeance on him that doeth euill.
13:5Wherefore ye must bee subiect, not because of wrath only, but also for conscience sake.
13:6For, for this cause ye pay also tribute: for they are Gods ministers, applying themselues for the same thing.
13:7Giue to all men therefore their duetie: tribute, to whome yee owe tribute: custome, to whom custome: feare, to whome feare: honour, to whom ye owe honour.
13:8Owe nothing to any man, but to loue one another: for he that loueth another, hath fulfilled the Lawe.
13:9For this, Thou shalt not commit adulterie, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steale, Thou shalt not beare false witnes, Thou shalt not couet: and if there be any other commandement, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, euen in this, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe.
13:10Loue doeth not euill to his neighbour: therefore is loue the fulfilling of the Lawe.
13:11And that, considering the season, that it is now time that we should arise from sleepe: for now is our saluation neerer, then when we beleeued it.
13:12The night is past, and the day is at hande, let vs therefore cast away the workes of darkenesse, and let vs put on the armour of light,
13:13So that wee walke honestly, as in the day: not in gluttonie, and drunkennesse, neither in chambering and wantonnes, nor in strife and enuying.
13:14But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

13:1Let every soule submit him selfe vnto the auctorite of ye hyer powers. For there is no power but of God.
13:2The powers that be are ordeyned of God. Whosoever therfore resysteth power resisteth the ordinaunce of God. And they that resist shall receave to the selfe damnacio.
13:3For rulars are not to be feared for good workes but for evyll Wilt thou be with out feare of the power? Do well then: and so shalt thou be praysed of the same.
13:4For he is the minister of God for thy welth. But and yf thou do evyll then feare: for he beareth not a swearde for nought: but is the minister of God to take vengeaunce on them that do evyll.
13:5Wherfore ye must nedes obeye not for feare of vengeaunce only: but also because of conscience.
13:6And even for this cause paye ye tribute. For they are goddes ministers servynge for the same purpose.
13:7Geve to every man therfore his duetie: Tribute to whom tribute belongeth: Custome to whom custome is due: feare to whom feare belongeth: Honoure to who honoure pertayneth
13:8Owe nothinge to eny man: but to love one another. For he that loveth another fulfylleth the lawe.
13:9For these commaundementes: Thou shalt not comit advoutry: Thou shalt not kyll: Thou shalt not steale: Thou shalt not beare false witnes: Thou shalt not desyre and so forth (yf there be eny other comaundement) they are all comprehended in this sayinge: Love thyne neghbour as thy selfe.
13:10Love hurteth not his neghbour. Therfore is love the fulfillynge of the lawe.
13:11This also we knowe I mean the season howe that it is tyme that we shuld now awake oute of slepe. For now is oure salvacion nearer then when we beleved.
13:12The nyght is passed and the daye is come nye. Let us therfore cast awaye the dedes of darcknes and let vs put on the (Armoure) of lyght.
13:13Let vs walke honestly as it were in the daye lyght: not in eatynge and drinkynge: nether in chamburynge and wantannes: nether in stryfe and envyinge:
13:14but put ye on the Lorde Iesus Christ. And make not provision for the flesshe to fulfyll ye lustes of it.
