Matthew - Chapter: 24

24:1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
24:2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
24:3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
24:4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
24:5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
24:6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
24:7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
24:8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
24:9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
24:10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
24:11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
24:12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
24:13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
24:15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
24:16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
24:17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
24:18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
24:19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
24:20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
24:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
24:23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24:24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
24:25Behold, I have told you before.
24:26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
24:27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
24:28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
24:29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
24:30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
24:31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
24:32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
24:33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
24:34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
24:36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
24:37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
24:38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
24:39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
24:40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
24:41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
24:42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
24:43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
24:44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
24:45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
24:46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
24:47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
24:48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
24:49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
24:50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
24:51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

24:1And Iesus went out, and departed from the Temple, and his disciples came to him, to shewe him the building of the Temple.
24:2And Iesus sayd vnto them, See ye not all these things? Verely I say vnto you, there shall not be here left a stone vpon a stone, that shall not be cast downe.
24:3And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world.
24:4And Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Take heede that no man deceiue you.
24:5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.
24:6And ye shall heare of warres, and rumours of warres: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to passe, but the end is not yet.
24:7For nation shall rise against nation, and realme against realme, and there shalbe famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in diuers places.
24:8All these are but ye beginning of sorowes.
24:9Then shall they deliuer you vp to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my Names sake.
24:10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
24:11And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceiue many.
24:12And because iniquitie shalbe increased, the loue of many shalbe colde.
24:13But he that endureth to the ende, he shalbe saued.
24:14And this Gospel of the kingdome shalbe preached through the whole world for a witnes vnto all nations, and then shall the end come.
24:15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)
24:16Then let them which be in Iudea, flee into the mountaines.
24:17Let him which is on the house top, not come downe to fetch any thing out of his house.
24:18And he that is in the fielde, let not him returne backe to fetch his clothes.
24:19And woe shalbe to them that are with childe, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
24:20But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.
24:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the worlde to this time, nor shalbe.
24:22And except those dayes should be shortened, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake those dayes shalbe shortened.
24:23Then if any shall say vnto you, Loe, here is Christ, or there, beleeue it not.
24:24For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.
24:25Beholde, I haue tolde you before.
24:26Wherefore if they shall say vnto you, Beholde, he is in the desert, goe not forth: Beholde, he is in the secret places, beleeue it not.
24:27For as the lightning commeth out of the East, and is seene into the West, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
24:28For wheresoeuer a dead carkeis is, thither will the Egles be gathered together.
24:29And immediatly after ye tribulations of those dayes, shall the sunne be darkened, and the moone shall not giue her light, and the starres shall fal from heauen, and ye powers of heaue shalbe shake.
24:30And then shall appeare the signe of the Sonne of man in heauen: and then shall all the kinreds of the earth mourne, and they shall see the Sonne of man come in the cloudes of heauen with power and great glorie.
24:31And he shall send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect, from the foure windes, and from the one ende of the heauens vnto the other.
24:32Now learne the parable of the figge tree: when her bough is yet tender, and it putteth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere.
24:33So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that the kingdom of God is neere, eue at ye doores.
24:34Verely I say vnto you, this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
24:35Heauen and earth shall passe away: but my wordes shall not passe away.
24:36But of that day and houre knoweth no man, no not the Angels of heauen, but my father only.
24:37But as the dayes of Noe were, so likewise shall the comming of the Sonne of man be.
24:38For as in the dayes before the flood, they did eate and drinke, marrie, and giue in mariage, vnto the day that Noe entred into the Arke,
24:39And knewe nothing, till the flood came, and tooke them all away, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
24:40Then two shall be in the fieldes, the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
24:41Two women shalbe grinding at ye mill: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
24:42Watch therefore: for ye knowe not what houre your master will come.
24:43Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knewe at what watch the thiefe would come, he woulde surely watch, and not suffer his house to be digged through.
24:44Therefore be ye also ready: for in the houre that ye thinke not, will the Sonne of man come.
24:45Who then is a faithfull seruaunt and wise, whom his master hath made ruler ouer his household, to giue them meate in season?
24:46Blessed is that seruant, whom his master when he commeth, shall finde so doing.
24:47Verely I say vnto you, he shall make him ruler ouer all his goods.
24:48But if that euil seruant shall say in his heart, My master doth deferre his comming,
24:49And begin to smite his fellowes, and to eate, and to drinke with the drunken,
24:50That seruaunts master will come in a day, when he looketh not for him, and in an houre that he is not ware of,
24:51And will cut him off, and giue him his portion with hypocrites: there shalbe weeping, and gnashing of teeth.

24:1And Iesus went out and departed fro the teple: and his disciples came to hym for to shewe him the byldinge of the teple.
24:2Iesus sayde vnto the: se ye not all these thinges? Verely I saye vnto you: ther shall not be here lefte one stone vpon another that shall not be cast doune.
24:3And as he sat vpon the mout Olivete his disciples came vnto hym secretely sayinge. Tell vs when these thinges shalbe? And what signe shalbe of thy comynge and of the ende of the worlde?
24:4And Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: take hede that no ma deceave you.
24:5For many shall come in my name sayinge: I am Christ and shall deceave many.
24:6Ye shall heare of warres and of the fame of warres: but se yt ye be not troubled. For all these thinges must come to passe but the ende is not yet.
24:7For nacio shall ryse ageynste nacio and realme ageynste realme: and ther shalbe pestilence honger and erthquakes in all quarters.
24:8All these are the beginninge of sorowes.
24:9Then shall they put you to trouble and shall kyll you: and ye shalbe hated of all nacions for my names sake.
24:10And then shall many be offended and shall betraye one another and shall hate one the other.
24:11And many falce Prophetes shall aryse and shall deceave many.
24:12And because iniquite shall have the vpper hande the love of many shall abate.
24:13But he that endureth to the ende the same shalbe safe.
24:14And this gladtidingees of the kyngdome shalbe preached in all the worlde for a witnes vnto all nacions: and then shall the ende come.
24:15When ye therfore shall se ye abhominacio that betokeneth desolacion spoken of by Daniell the Prophet stonde in ye holy place: let him that redeth it vnderstonde it.
24:16Then let them which be in Iury flye into the moutaynes.
24:17And let him which is on ye housse toppe not come downe to fet eny thinge out of his housse.
24:18Nether let him which is in ye felde returne backe to fetche his clothes.
24:19Wo be in those dayes to the that are wt chylde and to the yt geve sucke.
24:20But praye yt youre flight be not in ye winter nether on ye saboth daye.
24:21For then shalbe greate tribulacio suche as was not fro the beginninge of the worlde to this tyme ner shalbe.
24:22Ye and except those dayes shuld be shortened there shuld no fleshe be saved: but for ye chosens sake those dayes shalbe shortened.
24:23Then yf eny ma shall saye vnto you: lo here is Christ or there is Christ: beleve it not.
24:24For there shall arise false christes and false prophete and shall do great myracles and wondres. In so moche yt if it were possible ye verie electe shuld be deceaved.
24:25Take hede I have tolde you before.
24:26Wherfore if they shall saye vnto you: beholde he is in ye desert go not forth: beholde he is in ye secret places beleve not.
24:27For as ye lightninge cometh out of ye eest and shyneth vnto the weest: so shall the comynge of the sonne of ma be.
24:28For wheresoever a deed karkas is eve thyther will the egles resorte.
24:29Immediatly after the tribulacios of those dayes shall the sunne be derkened: and ye mone shall not geve hir light and the starre shall fall from heve and the powers of heve shall move.
24:30And then shall appere the sygne of the sonne of man in heven. And then shall all the kynreddes of the erth morne and they shall se the sonne of man come in the cloudes of heven with power and greate glorie.
24:31And he shall sende his angeles with the greate voyce of a trope and they shall gader to gether his chosen from the fower wyndes and from the one ende of the worlde to the other.
24:32Learne, a similitude of the fygge tree: when his braunches are yet tender and his leves sproge ye knowe that sommer is nye.
24:33So lyke wyse ye when ye see all these thynges be ye sure that it is neare even at the dores.
24:34Verely I saye vnto you that this generacion shall not passe tyll all these be fulfilled.
24:35Heven and erth shall perisshe: but my wordes shall abyde.
24:36But of that daye and houre knowith no man no not ye angels of heve but my father only.
24:37As the tyme of Noe was so lyke wyse shall the cominge of ye sonne of man be.
24:38For as in ye dayes before ye floud: they dyd eate and drynke mary and were maried eve vnto ye daye that Noe entred into the shyppe
24:39and knewe of nothynge tyll the floude came and toke them all awaye. So shall also the commynge of the sonne of man be.
24:40Then two shalbe in the feldes the one shalbe receaved and the other shalbe refused
24:41two shalbe gryndinge at ye myll: ye oue shalbe receaved and ye other shalbe refused.
24:42Wake therfore because ye knowe not what houre youre master wyll come.
24:43Of this be sure that yf the good man of the housse knewe what houre the thefe wolde come: he wolde suerly watche and not suffre his housse to be broke vppe.
24:44Therfore be ye also redy for in ye houre ye thinke he wolde not: wyll the sonne of ma come.
24:45If there be any faithfull servaut and wyse whome his master hath made ruler over his housholde to geve the meate in season covenient:
24:46happy is that servaunt whom his master (when he cometh) shall finde so doinge.
24:47Verely I saye vnto you he shall make him ruler over all his goodes.
24:48But and yf that evill servaut shall saye in his herte my master wyll defer his comynge
24:49and beginne to smyte his felowes ye and to eate and to drinke with the dronke:
24:50that servauntes master wyll come in adaye when he loketh not for him and in an houre yt he is not ware of
24:51and wyll devyde him and geve him his rewarde with ypocrites. There shalbe wepinge and gnasshinge of tethe.
