17:1	These thingis Jhesus spak, and whanne he hadde cast vp hise iyen in to heuene, he seide, Fadir, the our cometh, clarifie thi sone, that thi sone clarifie thee.
17:2	As thou hast youun to hym power on ech fleisch, that al thing that thou hast youun to hym, he yyue to hem euerlastynge lijf.
17:3	And this is euerlastynge lijf, that thei knowe thee very God aloone, and whom thou hast sent, Jhesu Crist.
17:4	Y haue clarified thee on the erthe, Y haue endid the werk, that thou hast youun to me to do.
17:5	And now, fadir, clarifie thou me at thi silf, with the clerenesse that Y hadde at thee, bifor the world was maad.
17:6	Y haue schewid thi name to tho men, whiche thou hast youun to me of the world; thei weren thine, and thou hast youun hem to me, and thei han kept thi word.
17:7	And now thei han knowun, that alle thingis that thou hast youun to me, ben of thee.
17:8	For the wordis that thou hast youun to me, Y yaf to hem; and thei han takun, and han knowun verili, that Y wente out fro thee; and thei bileueden, that thou sentist me.
17:9	Y preie for hem, Y preye not for the world, but for hem that thou hast youun to me, for thei ben thine.
17:10	And alle my thingis ben thine, and thi thingis ben myne; and Y am clarified in hem.
17:11	And now Y am not in the world, and these ben in the world, and Y come to thee. Hooli fadir, kepe hem in thi name, whiche thou yauest to me, that thei ben oon, as we ben.
17:12	While Y was with hem, Y kepte hem in thi name; thilke that thou yauest to me, Y kepte, and noon of hem perischide, but the sone of perdicioun, that the scripture be fulfillid.
17:13	But now Y come to thee, and Y speke these thingis in the world, that thei haue my ioie fulfillid in hem silf.
17:14	Y yaf to hem thi word, and the world hadde hem in hate; for thei ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
17:15	Y preye not, that thou take hem awei fro the world, but that thou kepe hem fro yuel.
17:16	They ben not of the world, as Y am not of the world.
17:17	Halewe thou hem in treuth; thi word is treuthe.
17:18	As thou sentist me in to the world, also Y sente hem `in to the world.
17:19	And Y halewe my silf for hem, that also thei ben halewid in treuthe.
17:20	And Y preye not oneli for hem, but also for hem that schulden bileue in to me bi the word of hem;
17:21	that all ben oon, as thou, fadir, in me, and Y in thee, that also thei in vs be oon; that the world bileue, that thou hast sent me.
17:22	And Y haue youun to hem the clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me, that thei ben oon,
17:23	as we ben oon; Y in hem, and thou in me, that thei be endid in to oon; and that the world knowe, that thou sentist me, and hast loued hem, as thou hast loued also me.
17:24	Fadir, thei whiche thou yauest to me, Y wole that where Y am, that thei be with me, that thei see my clerenesse, that thou hast youun to me; for thou louedist me bifor the makyng of the world.
17:25	Fadir, riytfuli the world knew thee not, but Y knew thee, and these knewen, that thou sentist me.
17:26	And Y haue maad thi name knowun to hem, and schal make knowun; that the loue bi which thou `hast loued me, be in hem, and Y in hem.


17:1	These wordes spake Iesus and lyfte vp his eyes to heven and sayde: father the houre is come: glorify thy sonne that thy sonne maye glorify the:
17:2	as thou hast geve him power over all fleshe that he shuld geve eternall lyfe to as many as thou hast geven him.
17:3	This is lyfe eternall that they myght knowe the that only very God and whom thou hast sent Iesus Christ.
17:4	I have glorified ye on the erth. I have fynysshed ye worke which thou gavest me to do.
17:5	And now glorify me thou father wt thyn awne selfe with the glory which I had with ye yerre ye worlde was.
17:6	I have declared thy name vnto ye men which thou gavest me out of the worlde. Thyne they were and thou gavest them me and they have kept thy sayinges.
17:7	Now they knowe that all thinges whatsoever thou hast geven me are of the.
17:8	For I have geven vnto them the wordes which thou gavest me and they have receaved them and knowe surely that I came out from the: and doo beleve that thou dyddest send me.
17:9	I praye for them and praye not for the worlde: but for the which thou hast geve me for they are thyne.
17:10	And all myne are thyne and thyne are myne and I am glorified in the.
17:11	And now am I no moare in the worlde but they are in the worlde and I come to ye. Wholy father kepe in thyne awne name the which thou hast geven me that they maye be one as we are.
17:12	Whyll I was with the in ye worlde I kepte the in thy name. Those yt thou gavest me have I kepte and none of the is lost but that lost chylde that the scripture myght be fulfilled.
17:13	Now come I to the and these wordes speake I in the worlde that they myght have my ioye full in the.

17:15	I desyre not that thou shuldest take the out of the worlde: but that thou kepe them from evyll.

17:18	As thou dyddest send me into the worlde even so have I sent them into the worlde
17:19	and for their sakes sanctify I my selfe that they also myght be sanctified thorowe the trueth.
17:20	I praye not for them alone: but for them also which shall beleve on me thorowe their preachynge
17:21	that they all maye be one as thou father arte in me and I in the that they maye be also one in vs that the worlde maye beleve that thou hast sent me.
17:22	And that glory that thou gavest me I have geven them that they maye be one as we are wone.
17:23	I in them and thou in me that they maye be made perfecte in one and that the worlde maye knowe that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
17:24	Father I will that they which thou hast geven me be with me where I am that they maye se my glory which thou hast geven me. For thou lovedest me before the makynge of the worlde.
17:25	O ryghteous father ye very worlde hath not knowen the: but I have knowen the and these have knowen that thou hast sent me.
17:26	And I have declared vnto them thy name and will declare it that the love wher wt thou hast loved me be in them and that I be in them.


17:1	These thinges spake Iesus, and lift vp his eyes towarde heauen, and sayde: Father, the houre is come, that thou glorifye thy sonne, that thy sonne also maye glorifye the.
17:2	Like as thou hast geuen him power ouer all fleshe, that he shulde geue euerlastinge life to as many as thou hast geuen him.
17:3	But this is the life euerlastinge, that they knowe the (that thou onely art the true God) and whom thou hast sent, Iesus Christ.
17:4	I haue glorified ye vpo earth, & fynished ye worke, yt thou gauest me to do.
17:5	And now glorifye me thou father by thine awne self, with ye glory which I had or euer the worlde was.
17:6	I haue declared thy name vnto ye men, whom thou gauest me from the worlde. They were thine, and thou gauest them vnto me, and they haue kepte thy worde.
17:7	Now knowe they, that all thinges what soeuer thou hast geuen me, are of the.
17:8	For ye wordes which thou gauest me, haue I geue vnto them, and they haue receaued them, & knowne of a trueth, that I am come forth from the, and haue beleued, that thou hast sent me.
17:9	I praye for them, and praye not for the worlde, but for them whom thou hast geuen me, for they are thine.
17:10	And all that is myne, is thine: and what thine is, that is myne. And I am glorifyed in them.
17:11	And now am I nomore in the worlde, and they are in ye worlde, and I come to the. Holy father, kepe in thy name, those whom thou hast geue me, that they maye be one, like as we are.
17:12	Whyle I was with the in the worlde, I kepte them in thy name. Those yt thou gauest me, haue I kepte, and none of them is lost, but that lost childe, that the scripture might be fulfylled.
17:13	But now come I vnto the, and this I speake in the worlde, that they maye haue my ioye perfecte in them.
17:14	I haue geuen them thy worde, and the worlde hateth the: for they are not of the worlde, euen as I also am not of the worlde.
17:15	I praye not that thou shuldest take them out of the worlde, but that thou kepe the fro euell.
17:16	They are not of the worlde, as I also am not of the worlde.
17:17	Sanctifye them in thy trueth. Thy worde is the trueth.
17:18	Like as thou hast sent me in to the worlde, so haue I sent them in to the worlde:
17:19	and for their sakes I sanctifye my self, that they also maye be sanctifyed in the trueth.
17:20	Neuertheles I praye not for them onely, but also for those, which thorow their worde shal beleue on me,
17:21	that they all maye be one, like as thou father art in me, and I in ye that they also maye be one in vs: that the worlde maye beleue, that thou hast sent me.
17:22	And the glory which thou gauest me, haue I geuen them: that they maye be one, like as we are one.
17:23	I in the, and thou in me, that they maye be perfecte in one, and that the worlde maye knowe, that thou hast sent me and hast loued them, as thou hast loued me.
17:24	Father, I wil, that they whom thou hast geuen me, be with me where I am, yt they maye se my glory, which thou hast geue me: for thou hast loued me, or euer ye worlde was made.
17:25	Righteous father, the worlde hath not knowne ye, but I haue knowne ye: and these haue knowne, that thou hast sent me.
