Ezekiel - Chapter: 30


30:1	And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:
30:2	`Son of man, prophesy, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Howl ye, ha! for the day!
30:3	For near `is' a day, near `is' a day to Jehovah! A day of clouds, the time of nations it is.
30:4	And come in hath a sword to Egypt, And there hath been great pain in Cush, In the falling of the wounded in Egypt, And they have taken its store, And broken down have been its foundations.
30:5	Cush, and Phut, and Lud, and all the mixture, and Chub, And the sons of the land of the covenant with them by sword do fall,
30:6	Thus said Jehovah: And -- fallen have supporters of Egypt, And come down hath the arrogance of her strength, From Migdol to Syene, by sword they fall in her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
30:7	And they have been desolated in the midst of desolate lands, And its cities are in the midst of wasted cities.
30:8	And they have known that I `am' Jehovah, In My giving fire against Egypt, And broken have been all her helpers.
30:9	In that day go forth do messengers from before Me in ships, To trouble confident Cush, And there hath been great pain among them, As the day of Egypt, for lo, it hath come.
30:10	Thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have caused the multitude of Egypt to cease, By the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon,
30:11	He and his people with him -- the terrible of nations, Are brought in to destroy the land, And they have drawn their swords against Egypt, And have filled the land `with' the wounded.
30:12	And I have made floods a dry place, And I have sold the land into the hand of evil doers, And I have made desolate the land, And its fulness, by the hand of strangers, I, Jehovah, have spoken.
30:13	Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have destroyed idols, And caused vain things to cease from Noph, And a prince of the land of Egypt there is no more, And I give fear in the land of Egypt.
30:14	And I have made Pathros desolate, And I have given fire against Zoan, And I have done judgments in No,
30:15	And I have poured out My fury on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt, And I have cut off the multitude of No.
30:16	And I have given fire against Egypt, Greatly pained is Sin, and No is to be rent, And Noph hath daily distresses.
30:17	The youths of Aven and Pi-Beseth by sword do fall, And these into captivity do go.
30:18	And in Tehaphnehes hath the day been dark, In My breaking there the yokes of Egypt, And ceased in her hath the excellency of her strength, She -- a cloud doth cover her, And her daughters into captivity do go.
30:19	And I have done judgments in Egypt, And they have known that I `am' Jehovah.'
30:20	And it cometh to pass, in the eleventh year, in the first `month', in the seventh of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying: `Son of man,
30:21	The arm of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, I have broken, And lo, it hath not been bound up to give healing, To put a bandage to bind it, To strengthen it -- to lay hold on the sword.
30:22	Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I `am' against Pharaoh, king of Egypt, And I have broken his arms, The strong one and the broken one, And have caused the sword to fall out of his hand,
30:23	And scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have spread them through lands,
30:24	And strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And I have given My sword into his hand, And I have broken the arms of Pharaoh, And he hath groaned the groans of a pierced one -- before him.
30:25	And I have strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And the arms of Pharaoh do fall down, And they have known that I `am' Jehovah, In My giving My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he hath stretched it out toward the land of Egypt.
30:26	And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have spread them through lands, And they have known that I `am' Jehovah!'


30:1	The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
30:2	Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
30:3	For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
30:4	And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
30:5	Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
30:6	Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
30:7	And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
30:8	And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
30:9	In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
30:10	Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
30:11	He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.
30:12	And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
30:13	Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
30:14	And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
30:15	And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
30:16	And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
30:17	The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.
30:18	At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
30:19	Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
30:20	And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
30:21	Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
30:22	Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
30:23	And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
30:24	And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
30:25	But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
30:26	And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.


30:1	And the word of Jehovah was to me, saying,
30:2	Son of man, prophesy and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Howl, Alas for the day!
30:3	For the day is near, even the day of Jehovah is near, a day of clouds; it shall be the time of the nations.
30:4	And the sword shall come on Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt. And they shall take her host, and her foundations shall be razed.
30:5	Ethiopia, and Lydia, and Lud, and all the mixed people, and Chub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them, shall fall by the sword.
30:6	So says Jehovah: Even those leaning on Egypt shall fall, and the pride of her power shall go down. From Migdol to Syene they shall fall with her by the sword, declares the Lord Jehovah.
30:7	And they will be ruined amidst the wasted lands. And her cities shall be in the midst of the desolated cities.
30:8	And they shall know that I am Jehovah when I set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers shall be crushed.
30:9	In that day messengers shall go out from before Me in ships, to terrify the confident Ethiopia, and anguish shall be on them as on the day of Egypt. For behold it is coming.
30:10	So says the Lord Jehovah: I will make the multitude of Egypt cease by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.
30:11	He and his people with him, awesome of the nations, shall be brought to corrupt the land. And they shall draw their swords against Egypt and fill the lands with the slain.
30:12	And I will make the rivers dry and sell the land into the hand of evil ones. And I will waste the land and her fullness by the hand of strangers. I, Jehovah, have spoken.
30:13	So says the Lord Jehovah: I will also destroy the idols, and I will make vanities cease from Noph. And there shall not any longer be a prince of the land of Egypt. And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
30:14	And I will make Pathros desolate, and I will set a fire in Zoan, and I will do judgments in Thebes.
30:15	And I will pour my fury on Sin, the strength of Egypt. And I will cut off the multitude of Thebes.
30:16	And I will set a fire in Egypt; Sin shall greatly anguish, and Thebes shall be broken through, and Noph shall have daily woes.
30:17	The young men of Aven and Pibeseth shall fall by the sword, and they shall go into captivity.
30:18	At Tahpanhes, the day will be held back when I shatter there the yokes of Egypt. And the pride of her strength shall cease in her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.
30:19	And I will do judgments in Egypt. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
30:20	And it happened in the eleventh year, in the first month in the seventh of the month, the word of Jehovah was to me, saying,
30:21	Son of man, I have shattered the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. and behold, it shall not be bound up to give healing, to set a bandage to bind it, to make it strong to handle the sword.
30:22	So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and I will shatter his arms, the strong one, and the shattered one. And I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
30:23	And I will scatter Egypt among the nations, and will sow them through the lands.
30:24	And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand. But I will shatter the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan with the groanings of the slain before him.
30:25	But I will make the arms of the king of Babylon stronger, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall. And they shall know that I am Jehovah when I put My sword into the king of Babylon's hand. And he will stretch it against the land of Egypt.
30:26	And I will scatter Egypt among the nations and sow them among the lands. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.
